Came here for Lunch with a friend. Drinks: lots of drinks variety on their drink menu; But it was Lunch time so I ordered a Pina colada mocktail. It was refreshing and delicious. Entree: I ordered the Lunch Ahi tuna Salad. The tuna was perfectly seared on the outside and raw on the inside. It went well with crispy noodles on the salad mix. Delicious! I also ordered the Soup of the day in a cup. I believe it was cream of chicken. Texture was quite weird, and curdly, but the taste was okay. They described it as "kind of like a chicken pot pie" and it was close, but the cream curdled a bit. Atmosphere was calm on a Friday noon, no reservation needed on weekdays. Lots of parking.
I’ve lived just a couple of exits away for over six years, but I had never thought to stop by until now. I’m so glad I did! The service here was absolutely outstanding. Our server, Wilbur, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He was incredibly attentive, always keeping our drinks and water full without us ever having to ask. His friendly demeanor and genuine hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious as well, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. After dinner, I really appreciated how easy it was to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the beautiful views nearby. This visit exceeded my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!
Wow this place is amazing! If you love burgers you have to give the out & in burger combo a try. This had to have been the best burger I've ever tried. An the fries were a straight 10 out of 10 I had already started eating them before I can take a picture haha. An my wife got fish tacos and said they were worth a try!
I was visiting San Diego for Comicon, Kimball Coastal Eatery shares a parking lot with Best Western Plus Marina Gateway. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and beautiful. I ordered Kristina's Bagel Sandwiche and met Kristina because she is good at EVERYTHING in the restaurant! She can do any job in the building!!! I highly recommend this restaurant, and you MUST meet Kristina!
Very cute rustic place with an A* breakfast and other meal options. Service is good. While there order for the kimball breakfast,it is very filling and may last you the whole day. Hubby had some cocktails too and highly recommends.
*Edit. This place has the best breakfast board you can find!! It just keeps getting better!! This breakfast board includes all the favs! And a new waiter Andrew who was so attentive and professional!! He really made the experience great!! Great food great staff!!! Beautiful environment! We frequent this place often and usually request Jay or Tanya Those 2 have excellent service the kind you don't find anymore! They were not available so This time we had Andrew who referred to himself as Jay's protege. He is new but is doing a good job. The menu offered a new item The breakfast board! It was like 37 for 2 people and offered all the breakfast greats! You get pancakes, french toast, chicken and waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon!!! I swear for the portions and variety you can't beat that anywhere!!! And it was so good!!! The only problem we had was our table had not been wiped down and the place wasn't as clean as it usually is. We went on father's day morning and sat outside. I'm assuming it was still dirty from the night before. We were a huge group and they were happy to accommodate us right away. It's the second time we go with a group of 12 without reservations and they have been very accommodating. I was really happy with our experience!
Great restaurant, pleasant atmosphere indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff, everyone comes across very genuine. Large outdoor space and the indoor dining wasn't cramped at all. The food is delicious and beautiful presentation. The bartender even offered up a sample taste of a special NYE drink for tomorrow night. We ordered a variety of food and everything was superb. Something about the cornbread ,it was so good, I had to get an order to go. This restaurants is such a hidden gem!
We were welcomed by an enthusiastic guy, our server was also very kind and polite. The food was really good. The place is clean. Even though we took advantage of the Tuesday beer special, it was a little pricey, but good overall.
